This semi-abstract work depicts a human walking on water, in the circle of its own lifetime.
The concept is based on artist's own unique black & white design called Ningenzo, showing a human figure (Ningen in Japanese) walking the circle of life (Enso Circle in Zen caligraphy) and representing all human potential. The design communicates the universal story of the human journey, yet in this case a person is walking on a circular path that starts and finishes within the human figure. Symbolically the work aims to remind the viewers that we are all creators of our life and at the centre of our own lifecycle - if only we could wake up to it before it is too late.
The canvas is stretched on a wooden frame and the artwork is ready to hang. Framing is not required.
A layer of gloss varnish protects the artwork against UV light and dust.
