⭕️ The Enso is a classical Zen symbol and has been central to Kamila CK’s practice for over seven years, following her first journey to Japan in 2018. Each Enso is painted in a single, uninterrupted masterstroke, with no corrections or revisions — a practice that gives form to the concentrated flow of energy present in the moment of creation.
Through this disciplined yet intuitive act, invisible synchronicities become visible. The circle operates not only as an image, but as a conduit: a threshold where movement, breath, and intention converge. Symbolically, the Enso represents the circle of life, unity, and connection to all existence, while holding inherent dualities — empty yet full, infinite yet complete.
This painting was created in January 2026 and is informed by themes of spring, emergence, and bloom developed in dialogue with the artist’s upcoming interdisciplinary live performances The Circle of Everything at Cockpit Theatre (15–16 May 2026), as well as her solo exhibition at Firepit Gallery (12 May – 6 June 2026).
Conceived as an energetic object rather than a static image, the Enso acts as a portal — subtly shifting the energy of the space it inhabits and the people who encounter it.
Installed on a black wooden pole as an integral part of the work, the painting is signed, varnished, and ready to hang.
