⭕️ Enso is classical Zen symbol and part the artist’s practice since her first trip to Japan in 2018. Painted in a traditional Japanese manner; in one masterstroke and no corrections afterwards. The practice gives form to the concentrated flow of the energy in the moment, making invisible synchronicities visible. Symbolically, the iconic Zen symbol represents the circle of life, unity and connection to all as well as duality of our existence; empty yet full, infinite yet complete.
This specific work belongs to a collection that explores the Enso on a grand, performative scale - allowing space for the human body to move within the circle and become part of the choreography.
2025 collection introduces a palette of alchemical metallics - gold and silver - shaping 2025 film iteration of The Circle of Everything. These colours correspond to two pivotal performance scenes: the moon scene and the sun scene. The legendary duo—the yin and yang of alchemy—contrasting forces of day and night, working together in balance.
