“From One to Many to One”

An interdisciplinary solo performance work featuring live Enso painting and physical theatre.

The work asks: can we step beyond our individual bubble and move in harmony with the momentum of life — with what exists both within us and around us?

Rooted in the spiral principles found in nature, the work explores growth, interconnectivity, and the invisible flow of energy that moves through and around us.

All seven Ensos are painted within one ritual as the opening scene — creating both a visual set and a spatial structure for movement. The choreography follows the Fibonacci sequence:
1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21.

The score remains constant, yet nothing repeats. Each circle builds upon the last — a continuous gathering and release of energy, unfolding as a movement meditation on how we are connected to each other and to the wider cosmos.

This new performance is still a work in progress - it began from DYCP award learnings in 2025. A 15min work in progress was developed and showed during residency at Clarence Mews London 2025. The work is still development and next phase will be showed in Dec 2026 as part ofSpace Clarence Mews residency, London.
