Due to my ongoing fascination this Japanese Enso symbol, I have chosen it as a story for a poem that can be calligraphed on my skin. This ideogram has been a central subject in my interdisciplinary practice and I wanted the poem to translate its meaning on me so I can enhance my own embodiment of it as part of preparation to premier my solo interdisciplinary work “The Circle of Everything” ‘24 where I paint the large scale Enso live and use it as part of choreography.
